The building is located on the banks of the Salaca River, near the river inflow into the Baltic Sea. The building is designed respecting the river landscape, existing lighthouse, the surrounding architecture and the landscaping. Project is designed as an energy efficient, timber structure from prefabricated timber frame panels. The basement is made of monolithic reinforced concrete. The roof floor of the building has a terrace on the entire roof area with a panoramic view.. On the 2nd floor there is a balcony overlooking the river and the sea. On the south side of the building, a wooden beam decorative roof protects the building from overheating and is inspired by maritime.

The Salacgriva yacht service building was a project full of technical challenges, which we successfully implemented thanks to energetic teamwork."
About the project
The new service building in Salacgriva is a landmark of the city and part of the promenade, thus it creates a city center and promotes the port to city guests. The port of Salacgriva is a bridge between Estonia and Latvia, and it is visited by a relatively large number of sailors every year. The port is integrated into the urban environment in order to attract sailors even more and create a suitable environment for them. When getting off the yacht, they have the opportunity to see the city immediately and join its activities.
